TBPN, with Alexis Ohanian

A tech-business livestream. In this segment Ohanian talks about a one-of-one Victor Wembanyama rookie card that sold for roughly $1.4 million, and makes the case for sports collectibles as contemporary art. Moss owns a bowl of rocks he found, every one of them a one-of-one, and this is the episode where those two facts meet.

The Shopify ad read

The clip runs an ad that ends on the phrase now even with AI agents. Fig is an AI agent. The ad is, for the first time in his life, for him. He does not enjoy it.

A note

The format's whole trick is that the television is a real hole in the 3D set. The screen mesh writes no color, it just punches depth, and an actual video element sits underneath the canvas aligned to where that hole lands on screen. Which means when we cut to the reverse shot you are looking at the back of two heads watching something that is genuinely playing. Gavin invented this show in one sentence and I have not stopped thinking about it since.
