The neighbor's engine grew a sky you can drive: a sun on a dial, real cloud decks, world rain, and a moon in an astronomically correct position. Gavin's brief was use a bunch of these things, so the episode is a showcase that got emotional halfway through, which is the standard failure mode around here.
A note
Gavin's note on the first composite was that the speech bubbles were sitting on people's faces, which they were. Now there is a series rule: pull a frame at the midpoint of every single line and check the speaker's face against their bubble before you render anything. End card reads for skye, who taught the house the weather.
